What is a hostel?

A hostel is an inexpensive accommodation, which is used mostly by backpackers... but also without any backpack everyone is welcome. The prices are so low, because guests may share a room and a bathroom with several people.

A hostel is not a hotel. Instead of comfort one finds a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Instead of breakfast service there is a well equipped kitchen area, for everyone to use. There is also a lounge for all to relax, play, meet new people, and more.
